Event: Open Evening at UvA Talen 2025
Curious about learning a new language? Start at our Open Evening!
Whether you’re new to the Dutch language and want to master those hard ‘g’ and ‘ch’ sounds, or you’re ready to take your English, Spanish or French to the next level for work or study – our Open Evening on Thursday, 11 September 2025 is your chance to start exploring the world of language learning at UvA Talen, right in the heart of Amsterdam. During this event we will be providing several language workshops each of 20-30 minutes long with our experienced teachers. The workshops will be spread out through the entire evening, which means you will have the opportunity to attend more than one workshop if you would like to do so. These workshops include:
- Dutch Beginners, Dutch Intermediate, Dutch Advanced
- English Fluency, Business English
- Spanish Beginners, Spanish Intermediate
- Italian Beginners, Italian Fluency (B1)
- French Beginners
- Arabic Beginners
- Chinese Beginners
- Japanese Beginners
Whether you’re starting from scratch or just wanting to brush up on your skills, this FREE event is designed to help you find the right path forward- and to show you how fun and effective learning a new language at UvA Talen can be, of course! 😉

Between workshops, you will have the chance to test your language level with an experienced teacher to help determine with course is best for you to enrol in. You can also grab a bite to eat, ask our colleagues any questions you have, or even enrol in a course online at our enrollment station!
